Dr Daniela Nogueira

Nommée Directrice Scientifique d’INOVIE Fertilité depuis 2019, le Dr Daniela Nogueira œuvre dans le domaine de la biologie de la reproduction depuis près de 30 ans. Elle a commencé sa carrière à São Paulo, au Brésil, avant de terminer son diplôme en sciences biomédicales. En 1994, elle arrive en Belgique pour effectuer une spécialisation dans toutes les techniques existantes, à l’époque, en FIV, au prestigieux hôpital universitaire UZ Brussel, où l’ICSI a été développé pour la première fois en 1991. Elle a obtenu son Master sous la coordination du Pr Andre Van Steirteghem à l’UZ-Brussel, suivie de son doctorat en recherche médicale et pharmaceutique en 2005. Pendant cette période, elle a acquis une expérience en embryologie et en génétique dans plusieurs régions du monde, notamment aux États-Unis et en Israël. Elle est aujourd’hui embryologiste clinique senior certifiée ESHRE et co-responsable du Centre AMP de la Clinique Croix du Sud à Toulouse (Groupe INOVIE) depuis 2006. Elle a réalisé plusieurs publications dans le domaine, elle est relectrice active et membre du Comité de rédaction de plusieurs revues. Elle a été notamment sélectionnée pour être éditrice associée pour « Human Reproduction and Human Reproduction Update », la revue numéro un dans le domaine. Membre actif de la Société Européenne de Reproduction Humaine et d’Embryologie (ESHRE), elle est une ancienne conseillère scientifique du SIG Safety and Quality in ART (2013 à 2019) et membre actuelle de la Commission de Certification d’Embryologie de l’ESHRE. Son intérêt principal est l’oncofertilité et le développement de technologies innovantes dans le domaine de l’embryologie.

Dr Daniela Nogueira

Nomated Scientific Director of INOVIE Fertilité since 2019, she has been in the field of reproductive biology for almost 30 years. She started her career in São Paulo, Brasil before finishing her graduation in Biomedical Science. In 1994 she landed in Belgium to perform a specialization in all techniques existent at the time in IVF at the prestigious universitary hospital UZ Brussel, where ICSI was first developed in 1991. She acquired her Master under the coordination of Prof. Andre Van Steirteghem at UZ Brussel, followed by her PhD Doctorship in Medical and Pharmaceutical research in 2005. During this time she gattered experience in embryology and genetics in several parts of the world including United States and Israel.  She is an ESHRE-certified senior clinical embryologiste and co-responsable of the Centre AMP at Clinique Croix du Sud in Toulouse (INOVIE group) since 2006. She has several publications in the field and she is as an active reviewer and member of editorial board of several journals. She has served as an associated editor for Human Reproduction and Human Reproduction Update, the number one journal in the field.  Active member of European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), she is a past scientific advisor of the SIG Safety and Quality in ART from 2013-2019 and actual member of ESHRE’s Embryology Certification Comission. Her main interest is oncofertility and the development of innovative technologies in the field of embryology.
